Lent Worship Series – 2012

“The Trials of Jesus”

This year our special Wednesday evening Lenten services will feature a special Lenten Worship Series titled “The Trials of Jesus”

Like a courtroom drama, a series of witnesses come forward to give testimony about their experiences with the accused – Jesus Christ. Through their accounts we come to know the truth that Jesus came to take out place in the defendant’s chair. The services will include dramatic monologues, thematic hymns, special music and prayers, all that bear evidence to the fact that Jesus truly is the Son of God.

The weekly themes and accompanying Biblical text are as follows:

  • Ash Wednesday – February 22 – “The Voice of Satan” – Mathew 4:1-11
  • Week 1 – February 29 – “The Voice of Judas” – Mark 14:165, 32-42
  • Week 2 – March 7 – “The Voice of Annas” – John 18:12-24
  • Week 3 – March 14 – “The Voice of Caiaphas” – Mathew 26:57-68
  • Week 4 – March 21 – “The Voice of Peter” – Luke 22:54-62
  • Week 5 – March 28 – “The Voice of Herod” – Luke 23:1-12

All services begin at 7:00 pm, proceeded by a  “soup supper” at 6:00pm. Plan now to join us for our Lenten fellowship and our special Worship services.

May God bless our Lenten journey.

NewYear Update

January eNews Update

Happy New Year!  FaithLabs has been busy on providing the electronic content that you have been asking for.

We are still working on some of the details but you can check out our work in-progress for the eTide,  just click here to see.

We are also added the January calendar from the Tide.  We are working on a viewer/reader solution but for now they are in PDF and you will need to download.

All of these things are being added to the website because that is the best place to store them.  We are still looking for a new home or hosting service for the web site.

We are also working on adding the bulletin to the sermon so you might want to check that out.

If you are interested in posting to the Faith Blog just drop a line and let us know.

Join us on Sunday Morning for these special sermons.
